RYVLS is a game played on the pull-up bars, outdoor gyms and parks of the city you live in. Every one of them holds a record. You go there, your phone counts your set with its camera, and if you beat the number the place is yours until somebody takes it back.
It does
It does not
Keep it. RYVLS does not measure distance or pace and has no opinion about your Sunday ride. It is the other half of the week: twenty minutes at a bar on the way home, with the number attached to a place instead of to a route.
Keep that too. The difference is not the training, it is the stake. Nothing you do on a gym machine belongs to anybody. Forty reps on the bar in your park has your name on it until somebody does forty-one.
Most of them count on a watch, or ask you to tap. This one watches you: thirty-three points on your body, read on the phone, and it calls the number out loud so you never have to look at the screen. Nothing is filmed and nothing is uploaded.
There probably is. Spots come from OpenStreetMap and from players who send one in, so a town gets covered as soon as one person there starts. Stand at the place, send it in with a photo, and after a check it is there for everybody.
What it costs
Goes here once it is decided. This is where the question is asked, so the answer belongs on this page rather than three clicks away.
